Heather Rae Tietz is studying in the Master of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Oregon where she is exploring the intersections of ceramics and the landscape. She graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art at St. Olaf College and is a graduate of the Minnesota New Institute for Ceramic Education (MN NICE) at the Northern Clay Center.

Tietz has recent experience teaching "Exploring Pottery" at Hopkins Community Center. Her work is on view in the Minnesota Women Ceramic Artists exhibition at the MSP airport, and her two dimensional work is circulating in the collection of the Minneapolis Art Lending Library.
